Left myself preoccupied
There wasn't anywhere else to go to
But even then I arrived victorious
Or at least that's what I dreamt

So much for the hard life
True Eden is at hand
Following the light
For it is my own emend

There must be sounds
on the other side
there must be tastes and
feelings and colours
There must be another side

I never thought it would come to this
never thought I'd wish for this
never asked for it
never found what it is
or isn't

For now I know I am complete
and now I know
what it means
to know this feeling
to smile because of it
to ask for more and run
run for the water
and dive in blood
